The web design project was a really fun way to work with different design principles and to put them into practice to create something that is both visually pleasing and accessible. I really tried to use both harmony and variety in some of the more aesthetic features, like colors and fonts. I used a total of four fonts across the whole website and kept fonts consistent for headings and body paragraphs. I only used two colors, other than black and white, for the rest of the design. I tried to use spacers appropriately to keep associated things together, and also tried for consistency in alignment. I didn't love using Weebly because I was not familiar with it and there were some functions I was not sure how to navigate, but after the project I am a lot more comfortable and I think I could make another website that improves on this one with the skills I learned.
You can use QR codes in the classroom in a number of different ways. One way you might utilize QR codes for older classrooms is for attendance. I've has classes that use a QR code that you have to scan at the beginning that lets you check-in for the day's attendance. This means that a student really has to be there, even if it is online attendance, and that the teacher doesn't have to worry about taking attendance. In younger classrooms, QR codes could be links to videos or online lessons that a student can do at home for extra understanding or maybe even homework.
The dilemma in question here has to do with student's receiving information from chatgpt that is not age appropriate. I think there are a couple of ways to make sure this doesn't happen, and they have a lot to do with the prompt given. One option is to give your students a list of prompts to choose from that you have already tried and that you know don't elicit any sort of age inappropriate response. Or, if you want them to still have more creativity, you can have them submit their prompt to you for approval first so you can check them for the same reasons. Overall, I think a wider range of surveillance is necessary to make sure all the information is appropriate for the age group.

Hey Dahlia! The website flowed very nicely. With the repetition and contrasts you showed I navigated the website with ease and it all looked great!
