I gained a lot of new skills working on Assignment 5, mostly concerning different functions of power point. I had no previous experience creating a presentation that did not use linear navigation. I had to learn how to disable it, and I had to learn how to link slides together in a way that made sure there was always movement available, so you don't get stuck on any one slide. I really liked this assignment because while it was more challenging, it also allowed for a lot of creativity. I think next time I'd like to figure out how to implement timing functions, so I don't have to create a slide for the question, and a separate slide for the answer. I think data collection tools can be very useful in the classroom, and I can see myself using them in a myriad of ways. I think they'd be extremely helpful in communicating with parents about the student and finding out about the student's life outside of the classroom. I could create surveys to send ou...
